This excerpt was set by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for casual auditions in
2011. Its a good excerpt for a number of reasons:-
1 is not standard
2 the player needs to handle the quavers after a held note, tricky to get in
time
3 later in the passage Mozart steer us into some interesting keys, which create
intonation issues to be resolved - I have to work had to avoid straying sharp
